The Feldberg

Baden-Württemberg’s rooftop

The Feldberg Tower stands on the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg. Hop on the Feldberg cable car and ride up to the 1,493-metre summit of the Black Forest – from there, it’s just a short walk to the tower.

The viewing platform on the 11th floor, 45 metres up, is easily reached by lift. On a clear day, you'll be treated to a stunning panoramic view – all the way from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Zugspitze and even the Mont Blanc massif.

Summer toboggan runs & plenty of action

Nestled among the towering peaks of the Black Forest, this adventure park is set in a breathtaking natural landscape – and packed with attractions for visitors of all ages.

A real highlight is the world’s longest suspension footbridge, stretching 218 metres across the valley at a height of 30 metres – a thrill for the whole family! There are also two 800-metre-long summer toboggan runs full of twists and turns, a splashy white-water ride, the Space Runner through an icy cavern, and the magical ice grotto at Schauinsland.

You can also spot more than 20 species of wild animals – including ibex, chamois, lynxes and raccoons – from elevated natural viewing platforms.
